How I Induced My Labor Naturally
Most doctors give pregnant women one to two weeks max past their due date before inducing with drugs. When I was pregnant I
almost went 2 weeks past my due date. I was determined not to be induced by drugs so I tried all of the well known procedures used to induce labor naturally on your own. Nothing worked until we found a unique procedure on the last day and it worked! Labor started the night before induction J
We found a great ebook online that showed all of the pressure points on the body that when pressed for a certain amount of time regularly, should trigger natural labor. I was a bit skeptical but new that acupressure can be very helpful for ailments and injuries, so I decided to give it a try. The book was by Dr. Lena Leino, found at her site: http://viralurl.com/lennykk/37043574/. It only cost $29 to download the ebook, which was well worth it.
There were 5 pressure points recommended. The book instructed to press on each point firmly for about 1-2 minutes every few hours or so. I started at around 10 a.m. with the pressure points and by the time I went to bed at 10 p.m. I had purple bruises at all 5 pressure point locations!
I was awakened at 12 a.m. with strong contractions that lasted about 1 minute and reoccurred every 5-12 minutes throughout the night. They continued into the morning until finally, by two in the afternoon, they were strong enough to where I had to stop talking during each contraction and focus on breathing. By about four in the afternoon we talked to our midwife and went to the hospital – I was 4 to 5 centimeters. My son was born at 3 a.m.!
