We All Need Chlorophyll
The chlorophyll in plants resembles red blood cells in our own bodies.
It is made up of similar elements, so it is ideal as a food-medicine for the human body. Chlorophyll is produced in plants through the absorption of solar energy, air, water and minerals from the earth. Chlorophyll cleanses, builds body cells, and is very healing to the human body. It can help reduce blood pressure, reverse anemia, relieve arthritic conditions, body odor, help to unclog arteries and helps the wave-like motion in the digestive tract to move the food along.Ideally you would drink 1-3 ounces of wheat grass juice, 1-2 glasses of fresh green vegetable and sprout juices, and at least one large salad consisting of sprouts, greens and a variety of vegetables per day. However, since that is probably not realistic for most of us, pure chlorophyll is available in liquid or tablet form. I love to buy the mint flavored liquid chlorophyll and it to a large bottle of water and drink throughout the day.
Prior to World War II, chlorophyll, in the form of grasses and extracts, was used as an antiseptic and as a poultice. It was given to relieve pain for the treatment of ulcers and many skin diseases. It was reported that in thousands of cases there was an improvement or healing. However, after World War II, antibiotics and chemical antiseptics replaced chlorophyll. Today, health officials are once again recognizing chlorophyll’s wonderful healing capabilities.
An interesting story: One of our friends had lost most of her vision in one eye due to parasites, and her other eye was beginning to be affected. The medical profession was treating her with various antibiotics as well as using chlorine as an eyewash. The problem persisted and, aside from being very painful, she feared that she would lose her vision completely. She began using wheat grass juice as an eye wash and changed her diet, including drinking 1-3 ounces of wheat grass juice a day. Within three weeks, more than 70 percent of her vision had returned, and she now sees perfectly.
Used internally or externally, chlorophyll helps us stay healthy!
